Absolutely! Our aim is to build sustainable lifelong habits that enable you to live a healthier and more active life. While short-term goals are a great starting point for creating change, we will focus on how to create a lifestyle you can maintain in the long run.

Your nutrition coach will facilitate weekly check-ins to ensure we have adequate time to discuss strengths, weaknesses, and barriers, as well as collaborate on a plan for a successful week. How Much Weight Should I Expect to LoseCan Nutrition Coaching Help Me Lose Weight?
The expected weight loss will vary for each client depending on overall goals and will require further collaboration. However, for a general idea, roughly 0.5 to 1% of total body weight loss per week are realistic and feasible goals for initial weight-loss periods. In most people, this translates to roughly 1 to 2 pounds weight loss per week.

Do I Have to Meal Prep to Achieve My Goals?
During My Program, Are Any Foods Off Limits?
No foods are completely off limits. Instead, we focus on balance, moderation, and making healthier choices that fit your plan. Our goal is to help you develop a positive relationship with food, so you can enjoy treats in a way that supports your health goals.
What are some common pitfalls people encounter when trying to improve their eating habits?
A few common pitfalls include time management barriers, planning ahead of time(prior to grocery shopping), stress and emotional eating, sedentary behaviors, lack of support from family and friends, lack of willpower, lack of knowledge, etc. As your nutrition coach, we will address any barriers that arise and create an action plan to overcome them.
Can I Drink Alcohol While in a Nutrition Coaching Program?
No foods/drinks are off limits. The important thing is figuring out what will fit into your nutrition goals and plans and learn to make sustainable habits to feel your best. If you drink alcohol, it would be ideal to do so in moderation. For individuals trying to lose body fat, frequent consumption of alcohol will be counterproductive to your goals, as alcohol provides no nutritive value.
What are some signs that I need to make changes to my current eating habits for better health?
This will vary greatly for every individual. You may have low energy and feel you can’t participate in your daily activities, you’re unhappy with your appearance, health issues may arise that elicit lifestyle and dietary changes. Other individuals may already be active and have fitness goals for strength training or endurance training and need more guidance in optimizing their health and fitness.
How do I handle eating out a restaurants or attending parties?
We do not have a prescribed food list. Our programs are designed to create sustainable healthy habits. No foods are off limits and together we will work to fit the foods you enjoy into your goals. Moderation and consistency will be the key to long term weight management and creating healthy dietary habits.

Exercise is not a mandatory part of my nutrition coaching program, but it can significantly enhance your results. My primary focus is on creating personalized nutrition plans that meet your unique needs and goals. However, incorporating regular physical activity can help you feel better, improve your energy levels, and support your overall well-being. If you’re interested, I can also provide guidance on integrating exercise into your routine in a way that complements your nutrition plan and fits your lifestyle.
What are some effective ways to incorporate physical activity into a busy schedule?
It is importing to increase your overall activity throughout the day. You can Increase activity by participating in a planned, structured exercise routine\program or leisure physical activities such as walking, swimming, riding a bike etc. Another good way to increase physical is to make small changes throughout the day such as: parking in the back of the parking lots, taking the stairs, standing vs. sitting, walking during breaks while working.
How can I stay motivated to maintain a regular exercise routine?
Feeling motivated may not always be the case. Establishing healthy routines and habits to shift your mindset to follow through with you goals. It is important to figure out your reasoning for participating in these programs and why you are wanting to elicit change.
